  21. I'm having a problem using Boolean subtract.  Just simple
  22. words and a beveled plaque.  Everything seems to work
  23. fine--if not slow(it takes about 3 hours to create the
  24. object.)but when I render it out there are horizontal streaks
  25. as if the plaque were made up of several long horizontal
  26. poly's that are somewhat offset. I'm trying a gold surface.
  27. These rendering errors (I'm not sure they're errors at all) are
  28. directly in between the lines of text on the plaque. Anyone
  29. got any ideas?

  35. Do you have smoothing turned on for the flat front surface? That may be the 
  36. problem.
  37. Make sure that the front face is a separate surface and that smoothing is NOT 
  38. selected. Hope that helps.
